Do You Really Want to Keep That New Year's Resolution?

Why do we often seem to fail with our New Year’s Resolutions? “I have no willpower”, do I hear you say?

There is no reason why you should have to rely on WILLPOWER to keep your New Year’s Resolutions. Willpower, in any case, is a rather over-rated concept. Why go through all the suffering and mental torture of trying to change when you can benefit from the wonders of hypnotherapy to achieve anything you wish. All you need is to truly WANT to change and genuinely BELIEVE you can change and your unconscious mind will do the rest.

Let me briefly explain. When we use willpower, we are using the conscious mind to try to change an unwanted habit. As long as we keep consciously focusing on the change we want to achieve the change stays with us and all is well. However, as soon as we start returning to our daily routines and experiences, we become distracted, therefore removing the conscious focus on change and allowing our minds to go back onto autopilot, enabling the unwanted behaviours to resurface in a relatively short period of time. This is because it is not the conscious mind in control of our habits, but the unconscious mind.

The unconscious mind not only controls all of what we do automatically, without thinking, but also controls all of our habits, wanted and unwanted! Using hypnotherapy we are directly targeting the unconscious mind, instructing it to focus and maintain the new, wanted behaviour.

I have helped people from all walks of life achieve their New Year’s Resolutions, freedom from addictions and many other issues.
